Yoga at work

My colleagues left their footwear at the door…

Allowed themselves to experience the practice of yoga….

Connected breath and movement…

Succumbed to the mat…

Forgot their worries for a couple of hours…

Namaste Jon!

Fruits of our practice

Yesterday’s  practice went surprisingly very well for me:
1. Touched my head on the the floor during prasarita C while being adjusted and adjustment had no pain.
2. I was tucking my legs during jump throughs
3. Was able to bind well for Marichy D!!!
4. And kept my hands together in supta kurmasana (yay!!!)

But still have a lot of learning to do; balancing poses, back bends…and I also discovered that my psoas need some working.

Hmmm…. how to strengthen eccentric contraction of the psoas…

Practice, practice, practice… and all is coming!

Breathing through the pain

The tragedy that happened last Monday was very unfortunate. The Chinese HK nationals are grieving…the Filipinos too are grieving…

How as a nation will be be able to get over this painful and shameful event?
Ekam inhale, Dve exhale, Trini inhale, Chatvari exhale…
